Looking back, looking ahead.  - +
It is absolutely eminent to stay on track while you are going fast, even speeding.
I have got to go to bed.
Precision and being compact will help take anything under your wing.
Even yourself.

six more miles

I just spent 5 minutes navigating through this web site to find the right link to create this new entry. This begs the question (in my mind) "What happened?" The internet has gotten so much easier to use for anybody and everybody. It's an incredible virtual place getting updated by the second. Stephen Fry once compared the internet to a city. There are the prominent parts, I forget what he compared these to exactly, but perhaps, the credible sites, obviously not wikipedia as any school on the planet will teach their students. There are the dodgy parts, malware, spyware, etc etc. There are the back alleys, which would be porn of all genres, and so on. I guess you get the point.
Through simplicity arises complicacy (yes, that is a word, even I was just surprised upon looking it up). bla bla
The most recurring phrase, lately, on this page is 'I haven't been on here in ages'. It's true. Yet this is very untouched and therefore becoming more and more of a sacred place. Perhaps something for me, and you, if you're reading this, a place to reflect in a couple of years. I have thought many times about deleting all the previous entries. But you can't erase the past. No matter how much you like it. So, I'll keep mine.
All I really wanted to type is that I'm happy where I am and feel that I belong and this hasn't happened for at least 3 years, this feeling. I realized this yesterday, when I had to un-grumpify somebody who disliked this city and area. I painted the greatest picture of it, and I can do this very well through my imagination. Only this time it was straight from the heart. And without shame.
So I'm doing well. Not financially. I mean not doing bad either. But I can't say that tomorrow I'll take the G5 to the south of France for a week and finance it via my interest. I'll get there, just not tomorrow.
I suppose the green astronauts will return sooner or later, pulling me to the right, or left. Whichever way the wind blows.
It's only important that the happiness will last. That was a rubbish sentence.
I really can't think up anything interesting and worth anybody's time to write on here at the moment. Let alone pictures.
So.
Late.

Happy Birthday

It's that time of year again : 31st of December is tomorrow. I was not aware of that until yesterday.
That means, it's time for resolutions. Everybody will be as optimistic as can be-the health food section in the supermarkets will be most frequently visited, cigarette sales will decline on the other hand, the gym will be packed, environmentally friendly projects attempted, etc etc. Come mid-February and everyone will be back to their old routine because 'there's too much stress'. Funnay.

I wrote this a year and a day ago:
"
Things I haven't quite resolved:
  • Downloading music vs Buying Music
  • Aisle seats vs window seats in airplanes
  • Marlboro Reds or Marlboro Lights
  • The best cologne: Bvlgari, Davidoff, Dunhill, or Puma?
  • My casual dress code
  • My next tattoo
"Well.
  • Definitely downloading music
  • Still undecided
  • Reds and Kent
  • Davidoff
  • now resolved but hard to describe
  • no clue.
I can now claim that I've developed over the year. Progress is cool.

This year's resolution? If the year that is about to pass is anything to go by, I'd like everything to continue in that manner. With these exceptions:
  • I want free fuel for my car, forever.
  • What's with the wars everywhere? Stop the madness.
  • Marilize Legajuana.
  • Kid's on their cellular phones, please refrain from playing music thru the speaker in public.
  • More motorbiking
Seems reasonable.

Now let me get cracking at planning my New Years' Eve.

All that and more.

What's the point?

Seldom do I write here anymore. Seldom do I feel the need to expose or even flaunt my opinions on this page anymore. Seldom have I used the word 'seldom' anymore.
Political Correctness. What is right and what is wrong? It's not that easy. Morals? Ethics? Personal Values? Cultural Respect? Economical thinking? Where do you start ? Or more importantly, where do you end? Will there be an end? Why would there be an end? How will there be an end if you can't start?
I go to school everyday to further my knowledge. To become a dynamic, smart, good-looking, stable, confident leading power of tomorrow's business world.
I learn Spanish to communicate with that part of the world and pull ladies at night.
I learn financial accounting to make the tax collectors happy, to inform the competitors that they truly have made the wrong decisions, to motivate the rest of the world that money, in a strategic point of view, indeed is dominance.
I learn about the law so I know where and how to screw others less fortunate, without consequences.
I learn about material management so I can produce the best results with minimal expense.
I learn about etiquette so I can control my emotions and adapt accordingly to each and every possible situation.

The people who shot up Mumbai on the 27th November 2008, how are they educated? Why do they do what they do?
Do they take courses to specialize in their profession? Are they aware that they are nothing more but a tool? A short-lived tool? To perform an operation. Who runs this operation? How were they educated? What motivates them?

Are 'terrorists' compatible with 'business people'?
The common goal is...power.
'Business people' - power=money.
'terrorists' - power=control.

While control appears to make more sense, there is no right answer. Power has no answer. Power is no answer. Yet there will always be power in order to advance life on earth.
Are we advancing, here on earth, or are we going backwards?
Technology is being updated every second. Most of us are aware of that fact. At the same time, much is destroyed every second: lives, values, buildings, cars, people, oceans, everything. How can we go forward if we keep stepping back? We need to be honest with ourselves as to where we stand. The country's leader driving the newest luxury car through the broken roads of their country, for example, is no way to symbolize status, be it political, social, or economical.  At the same time, driving a horse carriage through the national highway does not qualify as overly aware either. Values matter, be they traditional or newly found, constantly. Without truth there can be no understanding. Without understanding there won't be any negotiating because everyone is busy trying to make sense of the un-truths expressed. Without understanding there will be much guessing and estimations. Estimations will derive valid truths to moronic claims. Moronic claims lead to shortsighted acts. Shortsighted acts make you look stupid in front of the whole world.
So what is the point, exactly?
Why do we learn, to each their own, what we do?
We learn to impress. To show off our skills to the world. To obtain self-satisfaction. To be successful at what we call our duty. Our job. To earn money and control.
What do we need money and control for? How many control, how many money, is there to go around? Is it passed on from generation to generation, person to person? Or is there only much money and much control that everyone share and possess at the same time?  Power is harmful. It should be treated with the utmost respect and care.
So power is respect and care
How do you get respect and care?
Not by:
  • buying
  • using
  • selling
  • stealing
  • death
  • destruction
But that is how we are instructed in order to live successfully.

The world is full of contradictions.
Live for the moment, because after tomorrow, there might not be another day.
or
Live for tomorrow, because today I will create a day after tomorrow.

UNTITLED

i miss this
random and short span of selective attention
opposites and dissimilarities in one oxymoronic string of words. how did I do it how did I stop it?
i was so creative i lost the creativity and got what in return?professionalism? various suit combinations and a limited income? an apartment a car no motorbike and a perfectly well set up future?
the only question i'd pose is whether or not that is
a) a legitimate and fair trade
b) going to be happily accepted  by anybody with enough common sense to not burn their fingers twice when playing with fire  and
c) a unique and otherwise worthless point of view and thoughts at this time of day

Listen to the boulevard, listen to the falling rain
I believe in love now, with all of its joys and pains

spontaneous and dis(connected)ambiguous lyrics out of currently playing songs

the isolation of singularity
one big idea choked, stopped and started numerous times over and over to convey one simple message that not even its author can put to words.
how?
simple.
art.

don't take me for granted though. not yet because i have one more. no, one or two more things to do.
turn around.
don't drag me down.

i think i nailed it here. slightly.

i suppose, being in germany, I could also write on here in german.
but
how uncool is that?
buy a dictionary.
